In Denver for the Holidays
One Family in Gaza is a nonfiction drama based on the friendship between Crystal Zevon and a young father in Gaza. The story follows Zevon's efforts to help the family, told through their correspondence beginning in fall 2023, interspersed with short news reports that give context to the texts. Not unlike The Diary of Anne Frank, the play is a rare telling of a war experience in real time, calling on us to never forget our common humanity.
